Visicut ist eine plattformunabhängige Open Source Software, die in Fab Labs für die Ansteuerung von Lasercuttern und CNC Fräsen verwendet wird. Zum Visicut Developer Camp treffen sich Leute, die dazu beitragen können die Software (in welcher Form auch immer) weiterzuentwickeln. Thomas Oster der Entwickler von Visicut und Leute vom LaOS Laser Projekt werden teilnehmen.
Agenda:
- Introduction of the concepts behind Visicut (Internal structure, User Interface, Features)
- Explanation of not so widely used features (camera, marker detection, etc.)
- Hidden features
- Explanation of the software architecture
- next steps/features planned by Thomas and the community (e.g. Visicut for milling)
- How can we (the community) contribute to the software (documentation, style guides, etc.)
- Brainstorms on design (focus usability, not visual)
